Founded in 1966 by Franco Pesaro, Torcitura Padana has its roots in the earlier textile factory of the same name. Today, these deep and solid roots propel us toward a future full of challenges. Our collection of yarns is the result of continuous research into raw materials and innovative machinery, but above all, it reflects the unique professionalism of the Padana technicians, now enhanced by the synergies of the group's teams.
Our Italian and international markets span from furniture for drapery and seating to apparel, technical textiles, and technical-industrial applications. Our range of continuous yarns, among others, includes polyester, nylon, para-aramids, high tenacity fibers, and high molecular weight polyethylene. Our collections are characterized by a strongly diversified offering, including solution-dyed yarns, dope-dyed yarns, recycled materials, outdoor textiles, and flame retardants.
Every decision we make has always aimed at strengthening and consolidating our position: we have enhanced our assets, products, and research by filing an innovative patent that led to the creation of COEX srl, establishing new divisions, reducing costs and waste with green facilities, and acquiring significant companies such as Interfil TP srl and Ghezzi spa.
Productive gem
Since 1949, Ghezzi has specialized in twisting, initially focusing on silk yarns and later on artificial fibers. Today, the two production facilities are considered a gem in terms of organization, efficiency, quality, and innovation.
The company utilizes machinery with a total of 33,000 spindles, achieving a monthly production of 200 tons of twisted, stretch, and novelty yarns made from artificial, synthetic, and natural fibers for applications in outerwear, drapery, furniture, industrial uses, medical applications, construction, and agriculture.
The highly innovative technologies installed by the company have made it one of the leading yarn producers in Europe.
As of January 2024, the company has become part of the Padana Group, alongside Interfil TP and Coex. Since then, Ghezzi's excellent technical team has collaborated with teams across the group, providing an innovative boost to both us and our clients.
Always attentive to sustainability, we can offer a variety of artificial and synthetic yarns made from continuous filament fibers sourced from eco-sustainable production and recycled or bio-based raw materials.
Commercial power
InterfilTP is a commercial company with a dyeing background that became part of the Padana Group in 2017. Driven by a strong customer focus, it offers a wide range of yarns with extensive color selections available in stock service, as well as thousands of custom-dyed colors.
With extreme flexibility, we manage orders ranging from a single spool to several tons of raw and dyed yarns. We specialize in the apparel sector, both classic and technical/sport, and our product range includes everything from the most natural to artificial yarns. We are not just a typical trading company that buys and sells; we provide our clients with highly customized yarns.
Our highly professional sales team is capable of connecting all the technical capabilities within the group to offer clients something special and hard to find, addressing even the most complex needs. We have a strong presence throughout Italy and Europe, and we extend our reach much further.

From the collaboration between Torcitura Padana and Zanolo, COEX was born, an innovative fireproof technology resulting from research and a commitment to innovation that respects the environment and people.
COEX is a patented technology worldwide that allows for the modification of cellulose molecules to make them fire-resistant without the use of chemical additives.
